Corn Bread

This is my favorite recipe for corn bread. Sometimes I find that corn bread can be dry, but this is so moist & YUMMY!!! I got the basic recipe from Allrecipes.com...my favorite recipe site!

2/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 2/3 cup milk
2 Tbsp honey
2 1/3 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
4 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar together. In a seperate container combine eggs & milk. In a seperate bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, & salt. Alternate adding egg mixture & flour mixture into creamed mixture. Add honey.

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 22-27 minutes.

Top with honey butter.

How does free paint sound?

Wouldn't you love some free paint? Well, over at GLIDDEN they will send you a free quart of paint...there are a ton of colors to choose from. All I had to do was fill out an order form...DONE & DONE!!! I have never tried this brand, but I am willing to try it out. Give it a try...what could it hurt...RIGHT! I already know what project I am going to use my free paint on!

I wanted to thank INFARRANTLY CREATIVE for the info.

I've been crafting...

While I was in Arizona...I came across THIS POST
that had refinished these clip magnets. They are awesome magnets, but they are really ugly.

So, I just cut out some paper to cover the front part. Here is my finished product. It took me maybe 5 minutes to do this.

I also thought that I would put our Father's Day gift for my dad on here too!

Dinosaur Birthday Cake

I was searching for a dinosaur cake for Preston's third birthday & I found THIS really cute dinosaur cake. I think that my version turned out pretty well. It was actually really easy. Preston was so excited!!! He came over to see his cake & he got really excited because he "gets candy on his dinosaur cake". I really love making these cakes!

Something new...FINALLY!!

Well, my crafting has been put on the back burner. They boys, my mom, & I made a last minute trip to Arizona because my Grammy was very sick. She is doing a lot better. After 2 1/2 weeks we are talking about coming home. I am excited to get crafting again!!!

I came across this fun idea. Washer necklaces are all the rage right now! Creative Itch did a fun twist on it. They did necklaces & matching anklets. I can't wait to get home & make them.
