Flowers Hair Clips
I have never really been a big accessory person, but lately that has changed. I see people wearing these cute flower barrettes & headbands & have wondered if I could pull it off. Back in June I bought the flowers to make some barrettes, but they just sat on my craft shelf. Today I decided to hurry & make some. I think just about everyone knows how to make these, but if you don't leave me a comment & I will show you how I made mine!

Frame Jewelry Holder
I am so excited about this. About 6 months ago my parents gave me this old school frame with AMAZING details. I didn't know at the time what I was going to do with it...until I came across a fun jewelry holder.
Here is what you need:
A large frame
Mesh Wire (found in the fence dept at the hardware store)
S hooks (also at the hardware store)
ribbon
staple gun or E6000
First I primed & painted my frame. Then, you cut the mesh wire with wire cutters to fit inside the frame. My frame was thin plastic so I had to use glue (E6000) to attach it to the back of the frame. If your frame was thicker, you could use a staple gun for the wire mesh & the ribbon. Attach your ribbon to back side of the frame...I used glue again. Now you can hang it up on the wall. Take your s hooks & hang your jewelry from them with the mesh wire.

WEAK!!!!
Over the last month I have thought about having a tea party with my boys. Problem is....I don't have any teacups. KC suggested using mugs, but I think that would take the fun out of it. Tuesday I went thrift store shopping for a frame. Low & behold sitting on the shelf were TWO amazingly cute vintage looking tea sets. They were in these old antique looking boxes & I COULDN'T resist. I really don't NEED two tea sets, but I am WEAK!!! One set was tagged $3.99 & the other was $2.99. The best part was when I went to go & the clerk told me that they were HALF OFF. HALF OFF!!!!!! It was my lucky day FOR SURE!!!

Fun & Easy Party Banner
Thursday was hubby's birthday & I had to get a banner made. This was super easy & I ♥ how it turned out. We did a Zac Efron party...it was too funny!
Here is the template that I used. If you can open it & edit it...that would be GREAT to personalize it or change it up. I used this page for my pictures. I printed the pictures on plain white computer paper. Then I printed out the banner template onto scrapbook paper cut down to 8 1/2 x 11.
I will also include the HAPPY BIRTHDAY part of it. I cut my 12x12 scrapbook paper down to 8 1/2 x 11 so that it would fit in printer.
After I printed out my banner & cut it out...I glued the bottom of the triangle to ribbon & let it dry.

Monkey Birthday!!!
Last night we had Kaden's monkey party. It was so much fun. I had a really hard time finding decorations so I made my own banner. It was a lot of work, but I like how it turned out! We also had blue, yellow, & brown balloons. My favorite thing was using bananas as the balloon weights.
Kaden FINALLY got to wear his birthday crown. He was so excited. If you want to see how I made it...just check a few posts below.
I had a cake planned, but Kaden wanted these cupcakes instead. I think they turned out pretty cute. I got the idea from Taste of Home, but did a bit of substituting. The ears & face are just cut up Nilla wafers.

LOVE IT!!!
For years I have had 3 5x5 inch frames that were attached together by jute. I have never used them, but couldn't bring myself to get rid of them. I found this super cute plate holder & thought this would be the perfect thing for my frames. I cut the frames apart & painted them a different shade of green. I love how it turned out!!! The bottom picture is a little crooked, but just ignore that!!
